I think it's unfair to blame the economic collapse on Bush's economic
policies (or Clinton's to head-off further posts). However, I think a
case can be made that his policies and/or overspending hastened an
inevitable collapse.
Just like Obama's healthcare bill will hasten the inevitable collapse
of the American healthcare system. I hate to be a broken record, but
when it comes to really big things - our recent Presidents and
Congress have used the judgement of a 10-year-old who rides the short
bus.
Ayn Rand's seminal essay, "The Intellectual Bankruptcy of Our Age,"
explains the whys and wherefores of this, and it's still as relevant
today as it ever was.

And this message in "alt.battlestar-galactica"?

Why can't you go over and post in the loonie con groups like impeach obama?

As for health care. If you don't like repeal it. Abolish Medicare too
please.

Then as fewer and fewer can afford health insurance rates RISE RAPIDLY.
This system will be fine we just have to change the laws requiring hospitals
treat emergency cases.

Then rich people have hospitals. Dimwits give money to fund cures that only
the rich can afford.

In the end people will wake up.

Then it's CANADA styled health care and you have only your hard rightists to
blame. because that will be the only option!
