I have heard that there are a last ten episodes that were shown in Canada,
but not on the SyFy channel in the US. Does anyone know how one might see
these? I have hoped that the SyFy channel would eventually show them.

I checked on Amazon and on Netflix. There is a season 1.5 available, but
there are a limited number of episodes included. My interpretation is that
1.5 ends where the SyFy broadcasts ended.

They (SyFy) showed the last 6 or in a marathon around the first of the year.
I understood that was all there was. I would imagine they would be on DVD
now.
Naturally, the show really started getting good in those last episodes.

Yeah, and in the grand tradition of SyFy screwing over a show, we got
"the entire" conclusion in about 60 seconds.

The show was good, IMnsHO, but the last episodes were more than good.

More than likely, they turned up the heat to finish with a bang.

From my "understanding" (I don't really understanding SyFy's "thought
process") they weren't told of the cancellation until they had about 3
episodes left to shoot. That's the reason for the delay of the
completion. I think SG:U had a little more warning, but we'll have to
see about the conclusion of it since the plot is a lot more complex.

I missed the marathon, which is odd because my Tivo should have recorded any
new episodes. They must have flagged the episodes as repeats.

After some research it appears that the last 5 episodes are part of Caprica
1.5. I have it on order on eBay.
