For me, the best ones were when the show discovered Terra and the
uniforms were transformed into the white versions and subsequent ones
culminating with the capture of Baltar. Pretty much the 2nd half of the
season.

Best episodes:

Pilot: Saga of A Star World. The destruction of the Colonial Fleet and the
Holocaust, and the beginning of their flight across the stars.

Gun on Ice Planet Zero: Warriors and convicts taking out a Cylon
superweapon.

Living Legend: Commander Cain and the Pegasus. Nothing more need be said.

Hand of God: the finale. At least they went out with a bang-a basestar sized
bang.
